polishing party in the kitchen

In case you missed our fundraiser in November to raise money to travel to Schmuck, BUFF was an event where the MFA students hand polished a lot of flatware, hollowware, trays, jewelry and more! We also did minor repairs, pearl stringing and ring sizing.

From March 5th - March 11th (or so) our class will be headed to Munich, Germany to attend
Schmuck 2013: the 53rd Special International Jewellery Show and a part of the Handwerk & Design show at the Internationale Handwerksmesse. Schmuck, being the oldest and most prestigious jewelry exhibition in the world, brings together the best in contemporary jewelry from around the globe with over seventy (I just checked the program and it keeps growing every year!) exhibitions and events happening throughout the city. We will be going to as many of these events as humanly possible and individually posting our photos and thoughts as we go and likely for a while after we return.

Please follow us on our adventure!
